| 2000 Pumpkin Festival, Half Moon Bay. This event featured the
digital finger printing which allowed the parents to walk home with a
copy of their child's finger prints and picture. To the right is

| The 2000 pumpkin festival turned out thousands of people and allowed
us to expose our services to many hundreds of them. The overall
turnout during the two day period was more than 1000
children scanned and printed for their parents. One of the biggest
questions for most is "What happens to the information that we
collect_" As part of the service we scan the fingerprints and
take a picture of the child and print it on a standardized form.
The information is then cleared from the computer. The foundation,
nor any other organization, keeps a copy of this information. The
card that is printed has all of the information that would be asked for
by the local law enforcement agencies in time of need. The photo
to the left was taken during the 2001 pumpkin festival. (2001).
Some may ask why this is important. In the event that something
is to happen to you, or someone else's child local law enforcement
agencies will ask for many pieces of information including the child's
weight, height and for a photo of your child. The information that
we provide covers most of this.

To
scan the fingerprints into the computer for printing we use inkless
digital fingerprint scanners. It works in much of the same was as
a digital camera and its quality is rating better than inked
fingerprints in many cases. (2001).

Events
such as the 2001 pumpkin festival allow us to service many people.
During the two day weekend which we were open from early morning until
after the closing of the festival we serviced over 1600 people.
Stations such as this one were manned by volunteers. (2001)

At
almost every moment there were people in line awaiting to have photo's
and fingerprints taken of their children. Even after the close of
the festival we continued to service those in need. To the right

Cossey. (2001)
